This is my eighth year at the Academy and my 15th year in education. Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself to supporting students, families, and staff in building a positive, inclusive, and empowering school culture.
As the Elementary School Dean, I wear many hats. I support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral growth, address and resolve behavior concerns, facilitate Behavior Academies, and implement restorative justice practices. I work closely with families to strengthen the home-school partnership and plan and facilitate most elementary school-wide events, including our beloved Festival of Cultures and Read-a-Thon.
I am deeply passionate about empowering children for the future. I believe it is our responsibility as educators to ensure that students have the tools they need and deserve to navigate life successfully.
